ESCUELA GRIND have never been interested in staying inside the boundaries of extreme music. Built on blast beats, hardcore physicality, death-metal weight, and massive rhythmic hooks, the Massachusetts band has developed a sound that is confrontational, unpredictable, and impossible to stand still through. Their 2024 album Dreams on Algorithms, recorded with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studio and released through MNRK Heavy, pushed that vision further, expanding beyond grindcore and powerviolence into crushing grooves, melody, and songs built to hit just as hard in a packed club as they do on a festival stage. After years of relentless touring, Escuela Grind have become a band defined as much by movement and connection as sheer aggression, turning every performance into a shared release between band and audience. As the rooms get bigger, they remain rooted in the underground while refusing to be limited by it.
